I almost forgot to mention: the Glasgow Building Preservation Trust is having its 18th annual open days this weekend. You can go and see many buildings which are not normally open to the public or for which you need to pay an entrance fee. For example, the superb Barony Hall at the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow Central Mosque or the much praised House for an Art Lover. They also organise many tours and walks all around Glasgow.
