What can you do in Glasgow on a wet and sleety saturday afternoon?

My answer is, head straight to the Botanic Gardens - or more precisely to the greenhouses.

Kibble Palace

There is beautiful greenery, colourful flowers, it's warm and it feels as if you are miles away, somewhere near the Equator! This time, we visited the Kibble Palace (above), a 19th century iron framed glasshouse and one of the most famous Glasgow landmarks; it has undergone a multi million pound restoration and reopened in November 2006.

Ma suggestion: une balade dans les serres des Botanic Gardens dans le West End.
Parfait pour oublier la grisaille: il y fait bien chaud, la végétation est luxuriante et pour quelques instants, on se croirait au bout du monde!
